What are good winter team building activities for work?
Winter is kickoff season: January sales meetings, Q1 all-hands, leadership offsites and the post-holiday reset. The programs that fit run entirely indoors and give a room a reason to compete or build together. Best Corporate Feud and Jeoparody Live! open a kickoff in 60 to 90 minutes; Chocolate Architect and Food Truck Face-Off turn a cold afternoon into a culinary competition; Build-a-Guitar and Bridge to the Future keep a ballroom busy for two hours or more and leave something behind.
Charity programs suit winter as well: Bears and Blankets, Cancer Care Comfort Packs and Build-a-Rollator all run indoors in 1 to 2 hours, and the donations go to partners in the host city.

Frequently asked questions
What team building works for a January sales kickoff?
A game show. Best Corporate Feud and Jeoparody Live! run 1 to 1.5 hours for 30 to 1,000+, and the questions can be written around your products and company so the competition doubles as a refresher.
Do winter programs need an outdoor space?
No. Every program on this page runs indoors in a ballroom or meeting room.
Can we do a charity program in winter?
Yes. Bears and Blankets, Cancer Care Comfort Packs and Build-a-Rollator run indoors in 1 to 2 hours, with donations delivered to local partners.
How far ahead should we book a winter date?
Kickoff season fills first. Give us the city and date in the fall and program choice can follow.
What about a winter program for a remote or hybrid team?
Virtual editions of the game shows, trivia and charity programs run for distributed teams in the same 1 to 2 hour window. See our virtual programs.
What space does an indoor winter program need?
A ballroom or meeting room with about 20 to 25 square feet per person, round tables for the build and culinary programs, and a screen and sound system for game shows with groups over 50.
How big a group can take part?
Every program on this page runs for 30 to 1,000+, in teams of about 6 to 10. A sales kickoff of 400 and a leadership offsite of 40 get the same program, scaled by the number of teams.
Can a winter program be a charity event?
Yes. Bears and Blankets, Cancer Care Comfort Packs and Build-A-Rollator run indoors in 1 to 2 hours, and the finished donations go to charitable partners in the host city.
