What are good corporate holiday party ideas?
Pick the idea by where it sits in the evening. A game show fits the hour after dinner: Best Corporate Feud and Jeoparody Live! run 1 to 1.5 hours with podiums, buzzers and a host on the stage, and our game shows come in holiday-themed versions. A build fills a longer afternoon party at round tables: in Gingerbread Architect, teams of 10 earn their kits through browser-based challenges and then build gingerbread and candy structures in 1.5 to 2 hours.
For a party with a give-back, Operation Toy Donation has teams assemble toys and pack children's necessities that are wrapped and donated, and Bears and Blankets turns stuffed bears and blankets into comfort gifts for children in 1 to 1.5 hours. Staff who work remotely join through the virtual editions on Zoom or Teams. Every program is run by our host or facilitator, and the venue and the meal stay yours.

Holiday party ideas that give back
A holiday party is a natural time to give back. In these programs the game earns the materials and the build becomes the donation. We coordinate with the receiving charity, and when possible a representative from it comes to thank the group.
- Operation Toy Donation
- Teams of 10 rotate through care stations to assemble toys, pack children's necessities and decorate storage containers. 30 to 2,000+ people, 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Bears and Blankets
- Teams stuff plush bears, decorate a t-shirt for each one and wrap them in blankets for children in crisis. 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Charity Game Show
- A full game show, with the winning team signing a giant check to the charity you pick. The donation itself is separate from the program fee.
- Minute 2 Win It! for Charity
- Tabletop challenges earn the items for care packages that go to a local charity. 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

Planning steps for the holiday party program
Send the date, the city and a rough headcount as soon as the venue is set. Most company holiday parties land in December, so sending it early keeps more dates and programs open.
Decide where the program sits: before dinner, after dinner, or as the whole afternoon. That decides the length, from 1 to 1.5 hours for a game show to 1.5 to 2 hours for a build.
Check the room. Game shows need a projector, a screen and a sound system; builds and charity programs use round tables and about 20 to 25 square feet per person.
For a charity program, we supply the materials and coordinate the donation with the receiving organization, so there is nothing to collect or ship.
Add remote staff through a virtual program on the same day, or give them their own party on Zoom or Teams.
When part of the team is remote
Virtual Office Party is built as a party: teams of 6 to 8 play browser-based mini-games on your video platform in 60 to 75 minutes for up to 500 people, with a Game Master on hand, and colleagues vote each other into categories like the traveler and the foodie. Virtual Escape Room: Saving Santa! gives teams of 4 to 6 a kidnapped Santa to free, and each team picks a time to play, so offices in different time zones can all take part before the scoreboard is shared.
The game shows run virtually too. Virtual Best Corporate Feud plays in 60 to 75 minutes on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Webex, and you can add up to five questions about your own company.

Frequently asked questions
What is a good team activity for a company holiday party?
A hosted game show is the easiest fit. Best Corporate Feud and Jeoparody Live! run 1 to 1.5 hours for 30 to 1,000+ people, teams play from their tables, and our host runs the show from start to finish. For a longer party, Gingerbread Architect or a charity build runs 1.5 to 2 hours.
Can the program run at our venue during the party?
Yes. We bring the program to your venue, and the room and the meal stay with you. A Minute 2 Win It! is built to work as an after-dinner activity, and game shows can open or close the evening from a stage.
What does the venue need?
For game shows, a projector and screen plus a sound system and microphone for groups over 50. Build and charity programs need round tables and about 20 to 25 square feet per person. Gingerbread Architect and Chocolate Architect need about 20.
How big a group can take part?
Most programs on this page run for 30 to 1,000+ people, and Operation Toy Donation runs for 30 to 2,000+. Across all our programs we run events for 20 to 6,000+.
Can the holiday party include a charity donation?
Yes. Operation Toy Donation, Bears and Blankets and Minute 2 Win It! for Charity build the donation during the party, and Charity Game Show ends with a giant check to the charity you pick. See all our charitable team building programs.
Can we write questions about our own company?
Yes. Jeoparody Live! has five categories each round and one can be yours, Trivia Blast Live! questions can be customized to your company or event theme, and Virtual Best Corporate Feud takes up to five of your own questions.
What if our team does not all celebrate Christmas?
Most programs here have no Christmas theme at all. Game shows, trivia, Crack the Case!® and the charity programs work for any end-of-year party. Gingerbread Architect and Saving Santa! are the two with the holiday built in.
What about staff who work remotely?
Virtual Office Party, Virtual Escape Room: Saving Santa! and the virtual game shows run on Zoom, Teams or your own platform. See our virtual programs.
How far ahead should we book?
