Team Building for Collaboration

Competition to Collaboration was built for it. Two sub-teams complete challenges separately, each trying to set a mark for the other to beat, and a surprise twist then reinforces what they gain by sharing best practices and working as one group. For a single department, Bridge to the Future gives every team of 10 a section of one structure that has to connect.

Bridge to the Future, Build-a-Guitar and Build-a-Band run 2 to 2.5 hours. Competition to Collaboration runs 2.5 to 3 hours. The charity assemblies, from Bike Build Donation to Helping the Homeless, run 1.5 to 2 hours, Bears and Blankets 1 to 1.5 hours and Minute 2 Win It! for Charity 1.5 to 2.5 hours. Building Your Hybrid Team is a 2 to 6 hour workshop.

Yes. The in-person programs on this page take groups from 30 to 1,000+, and Competition to Collaboration scales up to 1,000+. Teams of 10 (4 to 8 for Crack the Case!, 6 to 8 for Minute 2 Win It! for Charity) work in parallel toward the shared result. Groups of 50 or more need a microphone and sound system.

Building Your Hybrid Team is a custom workshop for up to 25 people, delivered by a professional facilitator over a video conferencing platform, with program materials sent to each participant. Most run either way. Bridge to the Future, Bike Build Donation, Build-A-Rollator, Helping the Homeless, Hydroponics for Hunger, Kids Rock!, Bears and Blankets, Crack the Case! and Competition to Collaboration are listed for indoor or outdoor settings. Build-a-Guitar, Build-a-Band, Earth Wind and Solar and Minute 2 Win It! for Charity are indoor programs, and Earth Wind and Solar needs flat tables.

Plan on 25 square feet per person for most programs, 30 for Competition to Collaboration and 40 for Bridge to the Future. Groups of 50 or more need a microphone and sound system. Build-a-Guitar, Bike Build Donation, Build-A-Rollator, Earth Wind and Solar and Bears and Blankets also use tablets or phones on Wi-Fi, and most of those call for a display screen or projector.
