I cannot stress enough how much fun our staff had during the Team Olympics portion of our HSD Spring 2023 Retreat Picnic.  The entire process of hiring BCE, coordination with you, working with Eric and the other facilitators, and ease of payment / working with Jennifer was just amazing.  Although there was a chance the day could have been interrupted by rain, the weather worked out and the activities went on as planned. Eric and his facilitators were very engaging and went out of their way to ensure that everyone participated and had a good time.  We will definitely use BCE for future team-building activities. Everyone was engaged and active, from the first warm-up activity through the end thanks to your great facilitator. He was one of the best I’ve seen in 13 years; clear, engaging, respectful, adapted the basic plan to our requirements flawlessly and had enough energy to drive home the transfer of learning to real-world work in the debrief. Our group loved working together on the Catapult construction. I’ll pass our experience on to the other IPTD facilitators. I suspect you’ll hear from one of them soon.

It was great to see people working together in person to complete a project, people who usually work on the phone together, some not at all, to complete a very time consuming task. In my opinion, the most fun was watching and participating in the go-kart race and the beginning icebreaker. I appreciated everything starting and ending on time. Time management is very important to the Quality Team, especially since our time was limited. Judging from the looks on everyone’s face, everyone really enjoyed it. We’ll recommend it to anyone!

Your Competition to Collaboration program did a great job making connections between the workplace and the activities. We’ve done about 7 other activities as an office and none made the connection between how we work together in and outside the office as well as this event. The wrap up at the end, where your lead facilitator made parallels between situations that we experienced in the team building exercises with situations that may/may not occur in the office, was great debrief.
