A High-Energy, Reality Show-Inspired Team Building Challenge

Test your team’s physical grit, mental agility, and group strategy in Corporate Survivor – a dynamic series of team-building challenges loosely inspired by the hit reality TV show. Designed to push collaboration, communication, and trust to the limit, this high-energy program brings out competitive spirits in a fun, structured, and unforgettable way.

Teams of 8–10 participants will face off in a range of mentally stimulating and physically active challenges that simulate the twists, turns, and alliances of a survival-style competition.

Program Agenda

The experience kicks off with a tribal warm-up, where teams create a chant and flag to showcase their identity. From there, it’s game time—with activities designed to engage every team member, from strategic thinkers to bold performers.

  • Launching objects in Giant Slingshot competitions
  • Navigating obstacle courses blindfolded with only teammates’ voices as guides
  • Choosing survival tools in Stranded in Maine, a scenario-based decision challenge
  • Tackling classic team building games like Stepping Stones, On Target, Kaizen, and Turn Over a New Leaf

In some rounds, teams may need to form alliances, while in others, they’ll experience the surprise of team member shifts, mirroring real-world dynamics and adapting on the fly.

FAQs about Corporate Survivor Team Building Games

How does a Survivor-style corporate team building event work?

A Survivor-style corporate team building event draws on the format of the hit reality TV show to create a high-energy series of challenges that test teamwork, strategy, and adaptability – all in a structured, fun environment. Rather than a single game or competition, it's a multi-round experience where teams must work together to stay in contention. The experience is designed to push collaboration, communication, and trust to the limit. Teams of 8–10 participants face off in a range of mentally stimulating and physically active challenges that simulate the twists, turns, and alliances of a survival-style competition. The format is also intentionally inclusive. Activities are designed to engage every team member — from strategic thinkers to bold performers — so there's a meaningful role for different personalities and strengths throughout the event. The format works particularly well for groups that enjoy a little friendly rivalry. It's a strong choice when you want something with more physical engagement than a trivia-style game but more structure and safety than a purely athletic event. If you're looking for a team building format that's both memorable and meaningfully connected to how teams function at work, Corporate Survivor is worth a closer look.

What actually happens during a Corporate Survivor team building event?

Our Corporate Survivor team building event kicks off with a warm-up, where teams create their own chant and flag to showcase their identity. This opening activity immediately builds team cohesion and competitive pride before the main challenges begin. From there, the competition mirrors the twists that make the popular TV show format so compelling:
  • Alliances — teams may need to strategically form alliances to advance
  • Team member shifts — in some rounds, participants experience the surprise of being moved between teams, requiring them to quickly adapt to new dynamics
  • Unique challenges – team members will experience the excitement of fully engaging in fun, competitive challenges
While the immediate goal throughout is to outwit, outplay, and outlast – and to have an unforgettable time doing it – the lasting outcome is a corporate team better equipped to work together, adjust to change, and tackle challenges collaboratively.

How does Corporate Survivor help develop a team?

Corporate Survivor is built around three core outcomes: collaboration, communication, and trust. The multi-round format gives teams repeated opportunities to practice these skills under pressure, in a context that's engaging rather than instructional. A few things make this format particularly effective for team development:
  • Adapting on the fly — surprise team member shifts throughout the event mirror real-world dynamics, requiring participants to quickly establish trust and working rhythms with new colleagues
  • Competitive energy with a shared goal — the program brings out competitive spirits while keeping the experience fun and structured, so rivalry stays productive rather than divisive
  • Engagement across personality types — because challenges span both mental and physical formats, different strengths get their moment, and every team member has a reason to stay invested
The program can be tailored to your group's unique structure, goals, and preferences for the physicality level of challenges, the space where the event is held, and other factors. Reach out to discuss how Corporate Survivor can be customized for your next event.
