What professional development workshops do you run?
Facilitated, classroom-style sessions built around a specific skill: the DiSC Workshop for self-awareness and team communication, Emotional Intelligence Training, Essential Supervisory Skills for new managers, Presentation Skills Training, Conflict Resolution Training and Leading Virtual Teams. Most run 3 to 4 hours; Presentation Skills runs a full 6 hours and Conflict Resolution Training a full day; virtual editions run from 60 minutes to a full day.
For teams that learn better by doing, Competition to Collaboration® and Igniting Team Performance® are experiential trainings: a progressive series of team initiatives followed by processing discussions that surface the lessons the group identifies itself.

- Essential Supervisory Skills (3 to 4 hours): the essential responsibilities of a supervisor and the skills new managers need.

- Presentation Skills Training (6 hours), the Virtual Presentations Workshop and Conflict Resolution Training (one day).
- Team performance
- Competition to Collaboration® (2.5 to 3 hours, up to 1,000+) and Igniting Team Performance® (2 to 3 hours): experiential training with processing discussions.
- Remote teams
- Leading Virtual Teams (3 to 9 hours), Launching Your Virtual Team and Conducting Better Virtual Meetings, all for groups up to 25.
Half day or full day?
- Half-day (3 to 4 hours): DiSC, Emotional Intelligence, Essential Supervisory Skills, classroom style or round tables.
- Full-day: Presentation Skills Training (6 hours), with time for every participant to present and receive feedback, and Conflict Resolution Training (one day).
- Virtual (60 minutes to a full day): DiSC, Presentations, Coaching and Feedback, Leading Virtual Teams, for groups up to 20 to 25.

How long is a professional development workshop?
Most run 3 to 4 hours as a half-day session. Presentation Skills Training runs 6 hours and Conflict Resolution Training a full day. Experiential programs run 2 to 3 hours and virtual workshops from 60 minutes to a full day.
What room setup do workshops need?
Classroom style or round tables, sized to your group. Experiential programs run indoors or outdoors at about 30 square feet per person.
Can workshops run virtually?
Yes. Virtual DiSC Behavioral Assessment, Virtual Presentations Workshop, Virtual Coaching and Feedback, Leading Virtual Teams and Virtual Competition to Collaboration® all run live over video conferencing for groups up to 20 to 25.
Who facilitates?
BEST facilitators with backgrounds in corporate training, experiential learning and team development, who receive continuous training through the year.
Is the assessment included in the workshop?
The workshop, its design, preparation and a certified trainer are included. For DiSC and Myers-Briggs the assessment and profile materials are an additional cost per participant.
Can we combine a workshop with a team building program?
Yes. A half-day workshop in the morning and a 2 to 3 hour experiential program such as Competition to Collaboration or Igniting Team Performance in the afternoon fit inside one day, with the same facilitation team.
Where do the workshops take place?
At your site or a venue you choose, in a room set classroom style or with round tables, or live over video conferencing for distributed teams. Delivered nationwide with no added travel costs in the continental U.S.
