12 team building activities in St. Louis, MO

Every card below is something we have run for a company group in St. Louis, with the hotel or venue it ran in and how many people took part.

  1. 1. Bike Build Donation

Teams win bike parts in short challenges, assemble the bikes, and hand them to local children at the close. Our largest St. Louis build put 500 people in the Chase Park Plaza in June 2019, and a software company of 150 built bikes there again in March 2025.

  2. 2. Mini-golf build with a food donation

Each team designs one hole, everyone plays the finished course, and the canned food that anchors the holes goes to a food pantry. A group of 265 built their course at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark in October 2022.

  3. 3. Bridge to the Future

Teams build separate spans of a cardboard and duct tape bridge, then find out whether their sections line up when joined. A software company of 150 ran it at the Chase Park Plaza in March 2025, the day after its bike build.

  4. 4. Speed Networking

Timed one-on-one rounds with conversation prompts, so people from different offices actually meet. It ran as two back-to-back sessions of 75 at the Chase Park Plaza in March 2025.

  5. 5. Donation Nation Care Packs

Teams earn supplies through quick games, then pack care kits for a St. Louis nonprofit. A healthcare group of 200 packed theirs at the Chase Park Plaza in November 2023.

  7. 7. Trivia Blast Live!

A hosted trivia show with answer pads, on-screen questions and a running leaderboard. It suits a big general session: a pharmaceutical meeting of 200 played it at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel.

  8. 8. Igniting Team Performance

Planning team building in St. Louis

How it works with us here

Nearly every St. Louis activity we run happens inside a company meeting at a hotel. Downtown that means the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis or the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark; in the city’s west end it means the Chase Park Plaza. Teams flying in for a day often meet at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel. Manufacturing, software and healthcare companies book with us most here, and the charity builds are the first thing they ask about.

More about corporate events in St. Louis, MO

Getting there

St. Louis Lambert International Airport has MetroLink stations at its terminals. The Red Line starts at Lambert Airport Terminal 1, passes Forest Park-DeBaliviere and the Central West End, and runs through downtown St. Louis before crossing the river to Shiloh-Scott in Illinois, so a visiting team can reach a downtown hotel without renting a car.

Picking the right size of room

The packing builds, like Donation Nation and Helping the Homeless, take roughly 25 square feet for each guest, which puts 200 people in about 5,000 square feet of banquet space. For 150 or more, book a ballroom at one of the downtown hotels or the Chase Park Plaza. Under 50, a breakout room or your own office is enough for Speed Networking or a game show.

Team building in St. Louis, MO: questions we get

What are the most popular team building activities in St. Louis?

Our St. Louis clients pick Bike Build Donation more than anything else, and the mini-golf course build comes second. When the agenda only has an hour free, Best Corporate Feud or Trivia Blast Live! fits between sessions.

Which St. Louis hotels and venues have hosted your activities?

The Chase Park Plaza, the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark, the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton and the Missouri History Museum. We also bring activities to company offices across the metro.

Can we hold an activity outdoors in St. Louis?

Yes. A SmartHunt runs on foot with iPads, and Forest Park gives teams plenty of room to spread out. If the weather turns on the day, we move the group into a ballroom and run an indoor activity instead.

How large can a St. Louis group be?

Our St. Louis groups have run from 10 people to more than 900. The charity builds scale well: 500 people built bikes together at the Chase Park Plaza in 2019.

We are meeting near the airport. Can you come to us there?

Yes. We have run Best Corporate Feud and Trivia Blast Live! at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, and a bike build there in June 2026. Out-of-town guests can ride MetroLink from Lambert into the city afterward.

How long does a St. Louis team building activity last?

Most take 1.5 to 2 hours from briefing to wrap-up. Plan on 2 to 3 hours for Igniting Team Performance, since the discussion between challenges takes time.

When should we book?

Six to eight weeks ahead covers most dates. If the activity sits inside a hotel meeting, confirm it when you sign the hotel contract so the ballroom setup time is planned from the start.
