Speed Networking

I’ve been meaning to send this letter for over a week now. In a way, it is a testament to the lasting impression your team had on me, and many others who participated in the team building experience. The day exceeded our expectations. The event was rich with opportunities to develop relationships and teamwork, and, as we hoped, was a lot of fun! I look forward to working with you again.

Personally, I walked away with many valuable takeaways, including a newfound appreciation for the strengths of the individuals in this group and a stronger belief in our ability to pull together and meet and exceed our goals.

This was a very good workshop that kept everyone actively involved. The facilitator was fantastic. It made me aware of how I can improve my listening skills and how important those skills are in so many facets of life – not just work. It reinforced the message that communication is key.

I was very impressed in your ability at the conclusion of an exercise to tie back the outcome to ‘real life’ work experience. I look forward to setting up additional programming in the future.

Our team had a blast and is still talking about our Speed Networking event days after! The BCE staff was fantastic. We ran quite a bit behind in our schedule that day and your lead facilitator proactively made the adjustments necessary to keep up with our schedule without compromising the value of the team building exercises. Knowing how cliché team building can be there is always a concern that staff will glaze over and miss the intended message and overall goal that the team building activity brings. I have to share that not only were those concerns squelched within the first ten minutes of the networking event but absolutely disintegrated as the day progressed. I personally have been through many a team building exercise over the course of the last 20+ years and this was by far the best experience I have ever had and I walked away a better person (even though I did not participate in all the exercises).

Ben and his team were exceptional; I am in awe at how easily Ben was able to connect with the entire audience some of which are NOT at all open to this type of engagement. Ben’s ability to navigate all types of personalities and adapt himself to each and every instance positively is a joy to witness. Not one person in the room this past weekend was exempt from his infectious positivity and everyone at some point was engaged, smiling, and having fun.
