Woburn is where I-93 meets Route 128, and the interchange has filled in with office parks. Cummings Park and West Cummings Park, TradeCenter 128, and Unicorn Park hold hundreds of companies between them, many of them life science, engineering, and professional services firms, and Anderson Regional Transportation Center puts the commuter rail and the Logan Express in the middle of it.

The office parks also shape how a Woburn event runs. Cummings Park and TradeCenter 128 hold dozens of small and mid-sized companies in one address, so a Woburn group is often a whole company rather than one department, and the day tends to be a company-wide gathering rather than a team offsite. Jeoparody Live! puts teams of four to six behind podiums with a projected answer board for 1 to 1.5 hours. Operation Military Care has teams earn and pack care packages for service members in 1.5 to 2 hours. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Lowell and HeroBox, which sends care packages to deployed service members, received the donations from those events. A charitable build is the program Woburn groups have chosen most, and it travels to an office as easily as to the hotel: a cleared cafeteria or an all-hands room is enough.

For a summer group, Horn Pond is a few minutes from the office parks and the Middlesex Fells are next door, so an outdoor program or a SmartHunt built around Woburn Center and the pond is easy to arrange. Most of our programs run indoors or outdoors, and we match the format to the season.

Woburn is about 15 minutes from Cambridge and about 20 from Logan Airport on the Logan Express from Anderson, with Burlington one exit west on 128, Winchester and Stoneham next door, and Boston twelve miles south. It is the eastern end of our Route 128 coverage, and the same facilitators run Burlington, Waltham, and the city.
