Burlington is the northern anchor of Route 128. Where the highway meets Route 3, the office parks along Burlington Mall Road, Network Drive, and the Middlesex Turnpike hold software, medical device, and life science companies, plus the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center campus, and the town fills with a workforce many times its population every weekday.
