Why Manchester, NH For Your Next Corporate Event

Manchester gives New England teams a central, easy spot with the venues a corporate event needs and none of the big-city friction. People can drive up from across the region or fly into Manchester’s own airport, gather for the day, and head home the same evening without an overnight stay.

The Millyard along the Merrimack makes a genuine conversation starter, and the White Mountains are a short drive north if you want to turn the offsite into something longer. Choose a competition or a build for a local cause, and we manage the program end to end.

Corporate team building events in Manchester, NH

8 team building activities in and around Manchester, NH

The first five are activities we have run in southern New Hampshire towns near Manchester, with the venue and group size; the last three suit Manchester's own downtown rooms and streets.

  1. 1. Build-A-Guitar

Teams earn parts, assemble acoustic guitars, then play them before donating them to young musicians. A retail team of 49 built them at The Artisan at Tuscan Village in Salem, about 30 minutes south on I-93, in September 2025.

  2. 2. Momentum

Each team builds one stage of a Rube Goldberg chain reaction, and the stages have to trigger each other in one run. A technology group of 60 ran it at the Jarvis Center in Portsmouth, about an hour east, in December 2024.

  3. 3. A corporate feud game show

A live host runs survey rounds with buzzers and team captains, which fits neatly into a meeting agenda. A food and beverage group of 60 played it at the DoubleTree by Hilton Nashua, about 20 minutes south.

  4. 4. Amazing Chase SmartHunt

Teams carry iPads between challenge stations, solving puzzles and shooting photo and video tasks for points. A group of 150 ran it from Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, on the island just past Portsmouth.

  5. 5. A Minute 2 Win It!

One-minute tabletop challenges with cups, balloons and pencils, scored live by our host. A technology team of 70 played it in a ballroom at the Courtyard by Marriott Nashua on Southwood Drive.

  6. 6. Bike Build Donation in a downtown ballroom

Teams earn bike parts in quick challenges, assemble the bikes, then hand them to children from a local nonprofit. In Manchester, the Armory ballroom at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Elm Street has the floor space for a few hundred builders.

  7. 7. City SmartHunt through the Millyard

Teams use iPads to solve clues and take photo challenges along the Merrimack, past the brick mills and the Millyard Museum in Mill No. 3, then up to Elm Street to finish over food and scores.

  8. 8. Comfort care packs at your office

A packing build with games between rounds: teams assemble comfort packs for people in cancer treatment. It needs only banquet tables, so it fits a conference room in one of the Millyard's converted mill offices.

Team building in Manchester, NH: questions we get

Which venues near Manchester have you run team building at?

In southern New Hampshire we have worked at the DoubleTree by Hilton Nashua, the Courtyard by Marriott Nashua, The Artisan at Tuscan Village in Salem, Murphy's Taproom & Carriage House in Bedford, the Jarvis Center in Portsmouth and Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle. In Manchester we bring the activity to a downtown hotel or to your own office.

Which downtown Manchester hotel suits a large group?

The DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown at 700 Elm Street lists 16 meeting rooms, an Armory ballroom that seats 800 for a banquet and a 29,100 square foot expo center. That leaves room for a charity build with several hundred people at tables.

Is there a smaller function room just outside the city?

Murphy's Taproom & Carriage House on Route 101 in Bedford has a Carriage House room for 50 to 300 guests and private dining rooms for 30 and 40. We have run a charity build there, and it is about 10 minutes from downtown Manchester.

Can our people fly into Manchester for the event?

Yes. Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is about 6 miles from downtown, with American, Breeze, Southwest, Spirit and United flying there. Several downtown hotels are a short taxi or rideshare away.

Can a Boston team get here without driving?

Boston Express buses run from South Station and Logan Airport to Salem, North Londonderry and Nashua. There is no Manchester stop, so plan a shuttle from North Londonderry at Exit 5, or hold the event in Salem or Nashua instead.

Can a SmartHunt cover the Millyard?

Yes. A City SmartHunt can send teams along the river past the Amoskeag mill buildings and the Millyard Museum on Bedford Street, then up to Elm Street. It works best from May to October; in winter we move the group into a ballroom.

Can remote colleagues join a Manchester event?

Yes. Best Corporate Feud can run hybrid, with the room in Manchester and remote players joining on video. If the whole team is remote, our virtual activities run on Zoom or Teams.

Do you travel to our Manchester, NH office or venue?

Yes. We bring the activity, the facilitators, and the equipment to your location anywhere in the Manchester, NH area. If you still need a space, we can help you find one.

How many people can take part?

Our activities run for groups from 25 to several thousand, and we scale the format and the facilitation to fit your headcount.

What kinds of team building do you offer in Manchester, NH?

Team building, charitable (CSR) programs, professional development workshops, SmartHunts® scavenger hunts, and corporate game shows. A planner will recommend the right fit for your goals.

Can our Manchester, NH event be held indoors or outdoors?

Both. Many activities run indoors or outdoors, and we match the format to your venue and the time of year.

How far in advance should we book?

We can often accommodate short timelines, though a few weeks of notice helps for larger groups and busy seasons. Send us your date and we will tell you what is possible.

How much does a team building event in Manchester, NH cost?

Cost depends on the activity, your group size, and the format. Tell us about your event and a planner will send a same-day quote.
