Downtown on foot

Downtown West Palm Beach is compact. Clematis Street runs from the waterfront park on Flagler Drive to the shops and restaurants inland, and the Intracoastal Waterway sits between the city and the island of Palm Beach. Hurricane season
June 1 to November 30. Hold an indoor room for any outdoor date from August to October.

February and March stack the festival, spring training and the boat show on top of the winter season. For a date in those weeks, lock the hotel first.

Palm Beach International (PBI)
A short drive west of downtown, and the Hilton Palm Beach PBI is at the airport for a group that flies in and out the same day.

By rail

Brightline
The downtown station links West Palm Beach with Fort Lauderdale and Miami to the south and Orlando to the north.
Tri-Rail
The commuter line's West Palm Beach station is on South Tamarind Avenue, with a free trolley line into downtown.
