This impactful CSR experience turns teamwork into meaningful support for people with mobility challenges. In Build-A-Rollator, your group participates in a charity initiative that involves assembling high-quality rollators, which are then donated to those in need through a selected nonprofit.
Teams complete fun trivia, photo, and video challenges in the Brainstorm game to earn the parts needed for assembly. It’s an engaging way to strengthen teamwork while contributing to a cause that promotes independence and dignity.
Each Rollator includes safety brakes, padded seating, adjustable handles, smooth wheels, and a storage bag filled with care items your team prepares. Once finished, teams gather for a group photo, and a representative from the nonprofit may join to express gratitude and share the impact of your donation.
This hands-on experience can be hosted either indoors or outdoors, and leaves every participant with a sense of connection, pride, and purpose.
Program Agenda
Your event begins with a welcome and orientation from a professional facilitator who sets the stage for your team’s charitable mission. After a brief overview of the rules and a tech check, participants break into small teams to begin the challenge. Using the Brainstorm platform, teams complete fun, fast-paced trivia and creative photo/video tasks to earn “currency” they’ll use at the Rollator store.
Once all teams have gathered the parts, they’ll build their Rollator walker under the guidance of program staff. Each completed Rollator is inspected for quality and safety. Teams then assemble a care kit for the bag attached to each walker, filled with items such as a tumbler, puzzle book, socks, and personal notes of encouragement.
The experience concludes with a photo session and, when available, a surprise guest from the partner charity who shares how these donations will make a difference.

What is a Rollator? We didn’t know until one of the charities we work with asked us if we could design a program that builds Rollators to benefit the elderly, disabled veterans, and other disadvantaged people with mobility and standing challenges.
A Rollator, it turns out, is a walker on steroids. A walker has no seat, but a Rollator has a seat and a crossbar for back support allowing the user to stop and rest when needed.
Our Rollators are high quality and heavy-duty featuring large 8″ non-marking wheels, sturdy handbrakes, a fold up and removable back support, a padded seat, plastic tray, and a basket to store personal items.
And so Best corporate Events’ newest CSR team building program was born and we trademarked it (what else?) Build-A-Rollator!
