Wagon Build: Corporate Giving for Children

Wagon Build Donation is one of our corporate giving programs designed to benefit children. This program is dedicated to young children in America who are just beginning to explore the world. Wagons are a fantastic learning tool for preschoolers, helping them develop coordination, imagination, social skills, and much more.

Your group will be tasked with building full-size red wagons, complete with cupholders, storage compartments, door, and seating for two. These beautiful wagons are sure to bring joy to the underprivileged children who receive them.

In addition to building the wagons, you’ll create stuffed toys to accompany each one, giving each child a special friend to enjoy on their ride. Each wagon will also include a copy of Renata Liwska’s bestselling children’s book, Red Wagon, an imaginative story perfect for young readers.

To assemble the wagons, you’ll need all the necessary parts – handles, wheels, and of course, the tools! However, you won’t receive these right away. Your team will earn them by solving puzzles, answering trivia, and completing fun photo and video challenges in our Brainstorm activity.

Your team will score points for each activity completed, and those points will be used to “purchase” the tools and parts needed for the wagon and stuffed toy assembly.

Once all the wagons are built, teams will come together for a group photo. Scores will be tallied, and medals will be awarded to the winning team!

This program is sure to leave your group feeling energized and inspired. You’ll experience the impact firsthand when a representative from the local charity arrives to thank you and your team for your meaningful donation.

To ensure a fantastic experience, elements of the event may be adjusted based on your group size, makeup, available time, and other factors.

It was fun having members of our different business units working together to accomplish the same goal. We had a number of new employees and I think this was a great way to get people to know each other, working as a team. I think everyone enjoyed the “game” portion of the activity as well as the actual wagon build. They had a lot of fun going through the paces to earn points for the building parts. The event was super organized and our lead kept the group in order and under control. The program was highly received by everyone and the charitable aspect was a huge hit.
