Build-A-Rollator® is a heartwarming CSR program benefiting the elderly, disabled veterans, and other disadvantaged people with mobility and standing challenges.

Rollators are rolling walkers. These high-quality Rollators feature large 8"non-marking wheels, sturdy handbrakes, a fold-up, and removable back support, a padded seat, a plastic tray, and a basket to store personal items. The special loop locks, composed of internal aluminum casting, operate easily and ensure safety. The Rollators come with a lever to allow for independent handle height and angle adjustment.

With the use of Apple iPads, teams complete fun trivia, photo and video challenges to earn trips to the “Rollator store” to gain the parts and supplies necessary to build their Rollators.

Once assembled, team mechanics visit the inspection station before adding a cup holder and customizable cup along with notes of encouragement and a care pack with slip-proof socks and decorations that are attached to each Rollator.

The Rollators will be staged with your teams for a memorable photoshoot and whenever possible, a representative from the chosen charity will make a surprise appearance, sharing information about their organization and the impact your donation will have on the recipients.

After the conclusion of the event, a link to the photos and videos captured by the participants during the program will be made available for you to relive the memories of this fun and worthwhile team-building event.

To ensure a great experience, aspects of this program may be modified for your group size, group makeup, time available, and other variables.

Clients Talk About this Program

The Build-a-Rollator program was all fun. I was actually surprised at how much fun the group had with the icebreakers - it really got people relaxed and ready to do the activity. I liked that the teams were random and it was interesting to see how each group handled the task - it really got people involved and talking at a different level than business and with others from groups that they may not actually interact with on a daily basis. The group really enjoyed the format. Although sometimes they are hard to engage, your facilitator made it easy to engage with each other, without making it awkward for those that are more introverted. It was executed and received by the group even better than I thought it would be!

What is a Rollator? We didn’t know until one of the charities we work with asked us if we could design a program that builds Rollators to benefit the elderly, disabled veterans, and other disadvantaged people with mobility and standing challenges. A Rollator, it turns out, is a walker on steroids. A walker has no seat, but a Rollator has a seat and a crossbar for back support allowing the user to stop and rest when needed. Our Rollators are high quality and heavy-duty featuring large 8" non-marking wheels, sturdy handbrakes, a fold up and removable back support, a padded seat, plastic tray, and a basket to store personal items. And so Best corporate Events' newest CSR team building program was born and we trademarked it (what else?) Build-A-Rollator!
