    Teams carry iPads through the French Quarter, solving clues and taking photo challenges on the way to a scored finish.   2. 2. Amazing Chase SmartHunt

    A race format with Road Blocks and Detours between hosted stations, closer to a TV chase than a walking tour. Groups of 46 and 47 have run it from the Hyatt Centric French Quarter and the Omni Royal Orleans.

  3. 3. Mini-golf build with a food donation

    Teams build a mini-golf course out of canned and boxed food, play a tournament on it, then pack the food for a local food bank. It has filled a ballroom at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans twice, for 300 people in 2019 and 112 in February 2025.

  4. 4. Bike Build Donation

    Teams win bike parts in short challenges, assemble the bikes, and hand them to local kids at the end. A meeting-planning group of 130 built them at The Roosevelt New Orleans in September 2022, and a chemicals team of 40 at the JW Marriott on Canal Street.

  5. 5. Build-A-Guitar

    Teams earn parts, assemble acoustic guitars, then play them before they go to young musicians. It suits a music city, and our largest guitar build here put 450 people in the Sheraton New Orleans on Canal Street in June 2018.

    Athletic-style team challenges with scoring and friendly rivalry, run indoors in a ballroom or outdoors when the weather allows. A hospitality group of 320 competed at the Sheraton New Orleans in October 2023.

    Teams build sections of a cardboard and duct tape bridge, decorate each one with their goals, then join them into a span strong enough to hold the group. 625 people built one together at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans in August 2018.

    Teams earn supplies through trivia and puzzle rounds, then assemble and decorate care packages for service members and their families. A group of 66 ran it at Caesars New Orleans in January 2025.

    A game show set with podiums, buzzers and a projected answer board, ending with a check to a charity the group picks. A telecom group of 92 played it at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter in November 2023.

    Survey-style rounds with team captains, buzzers and a live host, sized for a slot between sessions. A banking group of 115 played it at the Hilton New Orleans Airport in Kenner, which saves a drive into town for a fly-in meeting.

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport sits in Kenner, about 11 miles west of downtown. The RTA's 202 Airport Express bus runs from the terminal to Elk Place and the Union Passenger Terminal, and the Canal and St. Charles streetcar lines cover most of the downtown hotels from there.

Yes. Parades close streets and hotels fill up during Carnival season, which falls in February or early March. If your dates land then, book early and expect us to plan a hunt route around the parade schedule, or to keep the group indoors.

What group sizes do you handle here?

Anywhere from a team of 20 to 625 people in one ballroom, which is the largest group we have had in New Orleans. Bridge to the Future and the charity builds scale best, and a SmartHunt can split a big crowd into many small teams.

How much time should we set aside?

Plan on about two hours for most activities, with the welcome and the closing scores included. A French Quarter SmartHunt fits the same window.

Can you work around a busy convention schedule?
