Bora “Max” Koknar has been facilitating corporate team building events since 2016 and serving as a lead facilitator since 2017, guiding groups ranging from Fortune 10 companies and tech startups to schools and small businesses. His 20+ year background in experiential theater and event production give him a deep toolkit for reading rooms, building momentum, and creating moments where teams genuinely connect.

As CEO of StoryPunk, an experience design studio, Max develops immersive experiences that build human connection by blending storytelling, technology, and game design. His previous leadership roles at Dragon Productions Theatre Company and Epic Immersive included designing bespoke corporate experiences that challenged teams to collaborate, communicate, and problem-solve under pressure.

• Received the CALI Catalyst Award for non-profit leadership work during the pandemic

Max trained in the mime lineage of Marcel Marceau, worked as fire-breather/acrobat at renaissance festivals, and owns a deaf Dalmatian named Ludwig van Beethoven.
