Our facilitators have seen some simply incredible breakthroughs at Team Olympics programs for corporations throughout the country. From desk-bound executives finding physical skills they never knew they had, to quiet introverts giving full-throated cheers when their team beats their best time at an event, the memorable moments are many.
What we often hear, though, is how genuinely touched the winning teams are to receive actual medals colored bronze, silver, and gold. Standing before their peers as a medal on a ribbon is placed over each of their heads in recognition of how spectacularly their team connected, came together, and aced challenge after challenge? That’s what they tell us really sticks with them, even when they’re back at their desks, and we couldn’t be more delighted to hear it.
