How Colors Behavioral Assessment works
COLORS is a quick Behavioral Assessment, a simplified version of a 4-quadrant instrument like DiSC. It can be done during the session or in advance and is an expedited and budget-friendly way of identifying participants’ styles.
Maybe you want to understand more about the behavioral differences within your team, but you only have two hours or maybe even less. Maybe you have hundreds of people. Or maybe your budget is tight. Well, this is when COLORS is probably right for you. Our COLORS behavioral assessment can be taken in five minutes and can be taken within the class itself.
The assessment consists of 12 questions that help identify participants’ highest behavioral tendencies. The results reflect four major behavioral tendencies:
- Red: Bold, direct action-oriented
- Yellow: Enthusiastic, sociable, optimistic
- Green: Supportive, caring, empathetic
- Blue: Analytical, precise, logical
After participants have an opportunity to take the assessment, we then break into groups where we understand people’s strengths, challenges, motivational differences, communication dos and don’ts, and how we can use that to create a high-performance team.
