With your Speed Networking program, I’ve learned a great deal about people whom I do not usually associate with at work. Having the opportunity to network with this many people in such a short amount of time was amazing. Not only do I feel more connected to the other departments, I was also able to identify some colleagues that I will stay in touch with to cross-share information about our clients. Shark Tank is one of my favorite TV shows. There are variations of this program all over the world, including Dragon’s Den in Canada and England and Den D in the Czech republic. The more I watched these shows, the more I thought a hybrid version of this concept would make a great corporate event. It really unleashes the competitive and creative juices of the participants as they brainstorm to come up with a product and marketing campaign to fill a public need.
