It was two years ago, BEST and the Clearwater Jazz Holiday (CJH) Foundation combined forces to create an exciting Get Tuned Charitable Event. The event brings together companies for corporate team building activities, Tampa, Fl. Companies network while building guitars donated to local charities supporting children, music, and the arts.
The Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation is well-known for its 41-year run of their annual four-day-and-night music festival, aptly named The Clearwater Jazz Holiday. The festival has featured a wide variety of music from legendary artists such as Buddy Rich, Dizzy Gillespie, Earth Wind and Fire, Stan Getz, The Avett Brothers, and UB40, to name just a few.
However, the CJH Foundation is not just a music festival organizer; it has also supported local underprivileged youth for many years by providing funding for musical outreach programs, scholarships, and jazz programs. CJH has joined with BEST to create a team building fundraiser to help bring meaningful experiences to students while inspiring and encouraging a new generation of jazz performers.
BEST and CJH’s “Get Tuned” Build-a-Guitar Event is a high-energy and entertaining experience! Businesses from the Tampa Bay Area get to network while participating in new iPad® challenges and activities as they work together as a team to build the guitars. Once the guitars are complete, participants may feel inspired to break out into spontaneous jam sessions! Everyone has fun while also knowing that they have helped make a positive impact on a child’s life.
“We can’t thank you and your team enough for helping to create another very meaningful event for our community of support and the organizations benefiting from our programs. The Build-a-Guitar event was a hit! I saw smiles all around and could tell everyone was having such a fun time. I truly feel it is events like these that help us to drive further value and foster a strong sense of engagement. Your lead facilitator and team were awesome again and always so delightful to work with. Thank you all again for a great event!” – Steve, Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation
